So, “copy”? What is that?
Good, we’re starting with the basics. Essentially, your copy is the text. Simple, right? When it comes to marketing, copy is the text that appears on your brochures, your website, your flyers, your – eh, you get the point. Your copy is your bread and butter. For both your brick-and-mortars and your online businesses, it is your first impression to potential customers. It gives them a dose of who you are, what you care about and what you’ve got to offer. It’s the beauty behind your brand (second to you, of course!) 😉

Copywriting, what’s my deal with it?
Short answer: it’s my pride and joy.
As a writer, I’ve fallen in love with crafting words to trigger emotion, paint a picture and tell a story. Even in school, I was the girl who got excited by essays and killed it in my creative writing courses. It only made sense that I continued to study it as a journalist and public relations professional, and then to make a career out of it.
Now, I dedicate my time to helping others’ voices come alive on- and off-line. I want to help business owners excel with their words across all their platforms. My tagline isn’t “Impact Write” for no reason. I’d like to see every brand I work with make an impact with their products and services in a powerful, touching way.

The minute I share that I’m a ghostwriter, people automatically assume that I’m the writer behind the latest Billboard top charter. While that would be extremely cool, that isn’t what I do. Instead, I work on helping special brands bring their businesses to life through words.
